About Ms. KegleyAfter hearing about the HTH community from all the way in Virginia, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join the High Tech elementary North County team. Inspired by students' curiosity and energy, I believe in creating a classroom environment in which they can share ideas, ask lots of questions, recognize their unique strengths, and love to learn.
Before moving to California, I attended the University of Virginia where I eared a B.A. in Psychology and a M.T. in Elementary Education. The Master's program included three years of teaching residency in grades pre-K through 5th. If you'd like to check out my portfolio from student teaching through the University of Virginia in fall of 2014, click here. While there, I helped manage a cupcake baker where I made many friends and ate even more sweets. Although I will miss Virginia dearly, I'm eager to explore the opportunities that San Diego has to offer, particularly surfing and baking with fresh produce. Carrot cake, anyone? |
