First, students built their own book box. We agreed that we should practice building before trying to build a little library for others. Students sanded, glued, operated a nail gun (with the help from an expert), and painted their book box. They were so excited to take them home! Below left: A closer look at some striped book boxes. Good thing we made two because students are already suggesting that HTeNC needs one. This week we'll interview our preschool buddies to find out how we should paint it
